I can’t say “I Do” without you

You can’t say “I do” without your besties beside you, so, here is one way to pop the question to your soon to be bridesmaids and maids of honor with the help of Shieldhill Castle.

Treat the ladies to a special Afternoon Tea at Shieldhill Castle, enjoy some sweet and savoury treats while waiting in suspense to ask the question and toast the fabulous news with a glass of fizz. Hide the surprise by disguising it by coming to the castle for a catch up and turn it into a moment they will remember forever.

Why not gift them with a Bridesmaid Proposal Box. A ‘Will You Be My Bridesmaid box’ with your soon to be bridesmaids name displayed on her own personalised keepsake box is perfect for filling up with pamper gifts and mementos of your friendship. This is one of the most special ways of asking them to stand by you on your wedding day.

After you’ve completed your bridesmaid proposal, and your girls have said yes while you enjoyed your lovely Afternoon Tea, why not check into our stunning Courtyard rooms for an overnight pamper stay in our conjoining rooms. Putting on funny and stylish bridesmaid shirts and bridal party pjs is the perfect way for your bride tribe to enjoy the first of many bridal celebrations.

Perfect for families or couples, visit the Lanark Loch. 20 acre man-made loch with that is open for fishing, children’s activities, golf and more between May until September. The Inn on the Loch has a 9 hole pitch and putt course, boating pond with bumper boats, course fishing (permit only), children’s play area, trampolines, and a refreshment kiosk.

Or why not visit  the Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve, it stretches along both sides of the Clyde gorge, which provides a great variety of habitats full of wildlife to discover. It’s free to visit too! There are 3 different waterfalls to see along the Clyde Walkway, so make sure you bring your camera to take pictures of the stunning views. If you want to find out about the area and the animals that live there, pop in to the Visitor Centre, which is open daily and free to visit.
