Owner Colin Frame wins John Gibson Memorial Race

We are delighted to congratulate the owner of Shieldhill Castle, Colin Frame on winning the John Gibson Memorial race.

After 4 years out of the racing seat, Colin put on his racing gear last weekend at Lochgelly Raceway – the Place to Race, taking out the Superstock once again. Colin shared his experience and just how much it meant to him, as he described the race “for me this was the equivalent to winning the World Final”.

We would like to congratulate Colin and also the team behind him. The trophy is now proudly on display at Shieldhill Castle.

WW1 Bombs found at on Shieldhill Castle Grounds

We still cannot believe we discovered these First World War artefacts on the castle grounds.

Halloween Pumpkin Delight

After receiving almost 30 entry’s of amazing carved pumpkins from children around Biggar we could not decided who the winner was going to be! It was then left for our followers to decide!!! 

With over 80 comments we would like to say a huge well done to Finlay!!! The public have picked your pumpkin!! 

Amazing efforts all round and big thank you again to all participants! Keep your eyes out for more competitions like this to be our next Shieldhill Castle Competition Winner.

Our bridal suite is a beautiful space where a bride can take the time to get ready for her perfect day surrounded by her friends and family. It has a separate lounge and dining area to make the big day that little bit more special.

This suite incorporates every necessary feature for beautiful brides to relax and glow on their big day. From the natural sunlight peeking through around the whole suite to assist the photographer capturing all of your beauty, to the stunning views of Tinto View to overlook whilst you are about to take this journey on your own momentous moment.
